Lil' TK joined the wrestling team again this year. Made Varsity and was named a Captain. He's still one of the hardest working guys on the mat, regardless of what his record is. At the last regular match of the season, he went 3 periods with the opponents "stud" and though he lost the match on points, he won the moral victory (not getting pinned).

The whole team has a great family atmosphere and it's always hard when the end of the season looms. Individual Section Tournaments will end the season for the team unless we can send a few kids to State. It's been a fun year....that went by way too fast. #GoScarlets

JOBS 2015

The kids tackled the Jobs Daughter dance again this year. 

Kels was escorted by her friend. The color theme was gold and the kids looked classy and beautiful. 

Lil' TK and his girlfriend of 1 1/2 years went with purple and had a great time at the dance. And looked great doing it.

Ang may be a bit biased. The kids clean up well.

RIP Abby Lou

With heavy hearts and tears glistening in their eyes, the Kopp Crew had to say goodbye to their sweet, loving, patient and beautiful Abby Lou. A large tumor on her spleen and failing kidneys transformed her into a skin-and-bones, lethargic, sad version of herself. She was a trooper, always trying to please and love despite her pain. The Crew miss her terribly but know she is in a better place, having deep conversations and massages with Papa Dick amongst the angels.

Rest in Peace.

Abby Lou

Abby is often forgotten and not given the attention she deserves. But throughout her 10 years with the Crew, she has learned to be patient and forgiving...as well as photogenic. Ang uses her a lot to play with settings on her camera or work on pet posing. Abby, as usual, takes it with her usual smiley disposition.

Juniors!

Kels and Lil' TK started school this week. As JUNIORS. Crazy how time flies. 

Kels has an Advanced Placement class again this year in the Social Studies field. AP Human Geography. She will also be exploring the Health Services field by joining HOSA and taking a class introducing Health Occupations options. She is considering Dental Hygenist or Radiation Therapist as possible career paths. She still has a couple babysitting jobs she works into her schedule while working at Little Caesar's making those Hot and Ready Pizzas. 

Lil' TK will have an Advanced Placement class as well; Advanced Placement Analytic Literature and Composition. He's chosen not to play football this year and is instead working two jobs (Arby's and Best Western Banquets), working out getting ready for Wrestling season and being active in the Greater Mankato YoungLife group.

What began as a summer which saw Big TK in the hospital with a blood infection and out of work on disability for 6 weeks and Ang losing her job with The Occasions Group due to the position being eliminated ended as a great start to the kids' Junior year of high school. Silver linings and all that...
